Arxis Connections Scheduled for October


The Arxis customer conference - Connections - is scheduled for several dates in October. The customer conference is always one of our favorite times of the years as it gives us a unique chance to "connect" with numerous clients away from the busyness and distractions of the office. We get to educate our customers on some of the great new features in their Sage ERP software, demonstrate ways to use the software more effectively, and expand their horizons with opportunities to automate their business further. Plus, it's just a ton of fun spending time and networking with great people.

Arxis Honored as a Best Place to Work!

Arxis Group was honored as the #12 best place to work in the San Fernando Valley area at a reception on August 11, 2010. Sponsored by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal, the program was designed to highlight companies who foster outstanding working environments. Rankings were based on an employer and employee surveys.

The picture below was taken at the event. Notice how the camera angle made yours truly look so small next to the presenting sponsor!


Of the award, David Cieslak, Arxis Principal, said "Being included on the list of 'Best Places to Work' is truly an honor. Arxis is a great place to work because of each team member's enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to outstanding customer service." As an afterthought, he added, "Maybe Mark should try doing a few pushups once in a while. It's rather apparent that typing and clicking aren't getting it done for him. I'm just sayin'." Long pause. "Oh wait ... is my microphone still on??"

Sage Accpac Version 6.0 Coming Soon!

Sage Accpac Version 6.0 is scheduled for release in December 2010. This release offers five primary enhancements designed to improve the end-user experience and increase efficiency.
  1. Sage Accpac Portal - new interface and simplified navigation
  2. Sage Accpac Snapshots - quick and easy way to determine how the business is performing from a dashboard-type interface
  3. Sage Accpac Inquiry - enhanced ability to search for information throughout the system, save search criteria, and export as necessary
  4. SageCRM Integration Improvements - much easier for salespeople to enter quotes and orders in CRM
  5. Sage Accpac Fiscal Period Management - flexibility to close fiscal periods by module  
As the video below illustrates, the improvements are significant and the 6.0 interface is really impressive. (Does the word "beautiful" make us sound too much like a software geek?)
